ZHdK Research Report 2022
The recently published Research Report documents the diversity of research at the Zurich University of the Arts. Each research unit presents the highlights of the year 2022 in a selection of activities, complemented by editorials from the research landscape at the ZHdK.
Research at the Department of Design consistently demonstrates its broad understanding of research, which covers both applied research projects and theoretical research, and a continued very successful acquisition of third-party funding. Both the linking of research and teaching as well as the promotion of young researchers play an important role.
The topic of digitization came even more into focus in 2022. In this context, the Digitization Initiative of the Zurich Universities (DIZH) became an important catalyst for the promotion of projects. The researchers were very successful in acquiring funding for innovation projects and structures that are at the interface of technology, environment and society and that will be implemented in cooperation with the other Zurich universities.
