New Head of Institute for Design Research
Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken has been appointed by the University Board as the new Executive Director of the Institute for Design Research (with an employment level of 50%) as of 1.2.2021.
Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken has been a senior researcher in the field of game design since 2013 and successfully built up her start-up, Sphery AG. She has a broad track record in research and teaching and is very well networked both nationally and internationally. With her background in sports science, Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken successfully specialised in Serious & Applied Game Design/Research in the context of fitness, rehabilitation and health in her interdisciplinary research projects and will continue to work in this research field.
The thematic focal points of her work as Executive Director at the IDE will include her involvement in the reorganisation of research at the ZHdK and the further development of the Junior Research in Design programme. We wish her a good start and much joy with her new task!
